Tuition Assistance

At Kellman Brown Academy, we are committed to making our school available to a diverse community of parents and children.Admission decisions, therefore, are need blind.  The school offers a need-based tuition assistance program in order toprovide families showing demonstrated need the means to be able to afford a Kellman education.

To assist in making objective decisions about tuition assistance, Kellman uses SSS (School and Student Services by NAIS).  Families complete a Parents FinancialStatement (PFS) form and must provide Kellman with a copy of the prior year's federal tax return including all schedules and W2 forms. Depending on family or business circumstances, additional forms may be required. Decisions are made by the school's Tuition Assistance Committee, which consists of individuals who are not currently parents in the school. The committee recognizes that the PFS form may not accurately portray the whole picture of a family's financial situation and it welcomes a letter that may clarify finances.

Tuition assistance is awarded on an annual basis. In keeping with Kellman's core values, all information received and discussed by the committee is kept strictly confidential.

Please contact Susan Aaronson at 679-2929, ext: 1720 for any information or for an application.
